This is an advanced Spanish class with a focus on communication and cultures. We will also make comparisons and connections between Spanish and English (and other disciplines) in order to strengthen our understanding and knowledge. The end goal is for the learner to be able to use the language in and outside his or her community. Topics covered include festivals and holidays, health, rites of passage, chores and errands, courtesies and manners, and art and literature. We cover many advanced grammar topics in this class.
