This course is designed as an introduction to basic wood working and safety techniques. Students will be exposed to the following areas: wood identification and classification, basic drafting, tool use and classification, adhesives, fasteners, methods of shaping and forming wood, principles of mass production, career opportunities, project construction, and safety.
