Prerequisites:It is recommended but not required that students have taken a foods class prior to Culinary Arts.


The first semester of Culinary Arts focuses on basic food preparation, nutrition, safety and sanitation practices, meal planning, and table service. Some of the culinary experiences include: quick and yeast breads, pies and pastries, cookies, dairy products, eggs, fruits and vegetables.
