World History

This course is an overview of world history and how it can be studied. Though we will learn about many societies, political structures, conflicts, economic principles, time periods, and cultures, the emphasis will be on the study of history. We will work to develop the skills necessary to identify and understand historical themes and big ideas. We will also practice assessing different media and sources to better our understanding of current events. Success in this class is reliant on hard work, critical thinking, and open mindedness.
